Our surgeons at Rowe Plastic Surgery are extensively trained in BOTOX®, Xeomin® and Dysport® injections. BOTOX® Cosmetic, Xeomin® and Dysport® injections are very effective neurotoxins for reduction or elimination of the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face. BOTOX® injections can be both therapeutic and preventative. Patients choose BOTOX®, Xeomin® and Dysport® injections as they age to treat fine lines on the face around the eyes, forehead, and mouth, but these injections can also be used at younger ages to prevent and postpone the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. BOTOX®, Xeomin® and Dysport® filler injections can also be used to treat muscle spasms and some migraines.
Your BOTOX® Injection Appointment
At your appointment, our highly trained staff will discuss the procedure with you and determine which areas you would like to be injected with BOTOX®, Xeomin® or Dysport®. First, the injection site(s) will be numbed with a local anesthetic and then BOTOX®, Xeomin® or Dysport® will be injected under the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the face.
BOTOX® | Dysport® | Xeomin® Results
Within just a few days after your BOTOX®, Xeomin® or Dysport® injections, you should see significant results in the form of reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles at the injection site. Your wrinkles should continue to fade over the next 30 days, and the effects of the injections last for about four to six months. Depending on the injection site and your skin’s sensitivity, you may experience mild swelling and occasionally, mild bruising for a few days after the injection. However, the staff at Rowe Plastic Surgery are expertly trained to avoid these mild side effects as much as possible.
